Sundays

Why do we gather?

We get together ever week to focus – or refocus – on God and the grace we’ve been given through Jesus. We gather to worship our Savior as a community, not as disconnected individuals through teaching, prayer, and music.

When do we meet?

We meet every Sunday morning at 9:30am

Where do we meet?

We meet in the auditorium of the Southwest Metro Educational Cooperative, 401 East 4th Street, downtown Chaska, MN.

Where do we park?

You can park for free all along 4th street (or just about any side street)

What should you expect?

Services last about 75 minutes with a typical Sunday opening with music. After the songs we will have announcements to inform everyone what’s happening in the coming week or two. Then we hear some teaching from our pastor who has a passion to bring the Bible to life and show how it’s relevant to our lives today. As a small community, we seek to get to know you personally so you don’t get lost in the crowd. We typically teach from sections of the Bible and always remain rooted in the Gospel. The music is led by a full band and is most often a mix of hymns and modern worship songs.

What about kids?

We believe that parents are called to be the primary spiritual leaders of their children and so we strive to support them however we can. Parents are free to bring their children into the worship service or take them to the nursery (called The Pond) or after the music your kids will be asked if they want to join Children’s Church – a safe, fun, bible-centered environment for children on Sunday mornings.

Is there something for youth on Sundays?

We believe that teenagers are an important, integral part of the body of Christ and we value their participation in the worship service. Therefore we have intentionally not structured any program that would isolate them from the rest of the body on Sundays.
